superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, is off to an excellent start with records in 2022 as he rewrites history for African on the Billboard charts with his album “Made In Lagos.”

Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” has set a new record for African and on the Billboard charts.



On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, the “MIL has become the longest-charting African on the Billboard World Album charts, after spending a total of 67 weeks on the charts.

Wizkid had surpassed the existing record on the Billboard charts, which had been held by the legend Cesaria Evora’s album ‘Cesaria,’ which had spent 66 weeks on the charts.
