This year’s edition of the award took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday the 18th of November 2019.
Several singers from all over the world won this prestigious award and our very own Starboy was one of them.
The song won under “The Ashford & Simpson’s Songwriter Award“, although it was also nominated for the “Best Collaboration category.”.

This is, however, the second time Wizkid was nominated in this award. In 2017 he was nominated for his song “Come Closer” ft Drake but didn’t win.
