Speaking about the track, the Jamaican artist explained, “The song came to life late last year and I knew I wanted to create something that would continue to combine my Jamaican roots with slick pop. Blending the classic piano riff with a vintage dancehall kick beat gave it the tribal sound we were looking for!” Hot Nigerian talent Patoranking also lends his vocals to the track, “I have a lot of respect for Patoranking. He blew me away with his dancehall styles when he jumped on the track in One Go. I knew that having him on the track was a no brainer and the perfect way to connect two countries by culture”
Since uprooting to from his hometown of Manchester, Jamaica to London a few years ago, Krishane has been busy in the studio perfecting his sound. An relentless talent, he has also found the time to work with fellow singers including voice-of-the-moment, Jess Glynne with whom he co-wrote the chorus to Tinie Tempah’s latest summer smash ‘Not Letting Go’ and producer RedOne.
Being the son of veteran reggae singer Barrington Levy, Krishane grew up in a world of music in his home of Jamaica and channelled that passion by writing and singing from a young age. Watch this space for more news!
