Love is a beautiful thing they say and for some Nigerian Artists, it is also a blessing.
Artists are public figures and everything they do is always monitored. From social media activities to personal lives, privacy is expensive and a rare commodity for an artist. Which why finding love also seems to be a hard task.
Though Not many have managed to find love due to many factors contributed by their careers, others have finally set their hearts on that one person they want to spend the rest of their lives with.

Burna Boy and Stefflon Don
Burna Boy and British rapper Stefflon Don met in Ghana in 2018 when Stefflon Don watched him perform at a show after missing her flight. In an interview in 2019, Stefflon Don revealed that during their first meeting, Burna had told her that she was his wife but she didn’t believe it.
In 2019, The couple made their relationship public with a series of Instagram stories, and during that time, Burna has opened that he was interested in having a child with her and often times refers to her as ‘wifey’.
In 2020, however, rumors of a spilt surfaced after they unfollowed each other on Instagram and later an Instagram model by Jopearl alleged that she and Burna had been dating since 2018.
In December, Burna Boy and Stefflon were spotted in Ghana being all loved up and things seemed to be fine between them.
Davido and Chioma are one of the many relationships that have produced a lot of ‘awwws’ moment. Many have compared it to a modern-day fairytale and for good reasons.
In 2018, their relationship became public after Chioma accompanied Davido to a family event in Osun state. Their relationship blossomed from there as Davido took her on tour, then in April of that same year, Davido surprised everyone by gifting Chioma a Porsche reportedly worth 60 million Naira for her 23rd birthday.
He even released a love song titled “Assurance” dedicated to her in which she was featured in the music video.
In 2019, Davido shocked fans again when he posted a photo of him and Chioma with their family hinting at their Introduction. He later proposed to her in a private ceremony where it was also revealed that Chioma was expecting a child.
In October of 2019, Chioma put to birth a baby boy which the couple christened David Adedeji Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic ruined the chance of fans witnessing what would have been the Music Industry’s royal wedding as the couple couldn’t get married as they have planned.
Adekunle Gold and Simi
One of Nigeria’s favourite celebrity couples, Adekunle Gold and Simi are lowkey when it comes to their relationship even though they have known themselves for close to seven years.
The two met after Adekunle Gold had come to watch Simi perform in 2013, before that, Gold had been a fan of her music and kept chasing her all over Facebook.
The two were so lowkey that people though Simi was dating rapper, Falz who she released a joint collaboration with.
In 2019, the two got married in a private ceremony that was attended by big wigs in the Entertainment Industry. In 2020, they welcomed their baby girl, Adejare Kosoko.
These two are the benchmark of privacy in a relationship.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola are one of the Industry’s favourite couples. The two met during a show Temi’s sister, DJ Cuppy was playing at.
Temi in their podcast ‘How Far’ revealed that she was the first to move on to Mr Eazi and labeled him as a**hole due to his response to her.
The two became public in 2017 after being spotted together at the wedding of the son of Folorunso Alakija.
In 2017, Temi got a plane to fly past them with a message that read ‘Happy birthday Tosin’ (Eazi’s real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade) and also wrote 365 love notes for him.
Their relationship also received the blessings of Temi’s father, Femi Otedola who at a point jokingly asked when they were getting married.
The two recently started a podcast called ‘How Far’.

Runtown and Adut Akech
On this list, Runtown and Adut Akech have the youngest relationship as they became public in 2020.
In July of 2020, Videos and Pictures of the two being cozy went viral. Their relationship became confirmed after Adut posted a video of her showing off a ring Runtown gave her. Though his management claimed it was just a promise ring.
They even celebrated Runtown’s birthday together in a private resort. and to seal the deal, he featured her on the music video for “Kini Issue”.
