This list includes songs that dominated the streets and clubs and have become most DJs’ favorites.
It contains songs from Davido, Wizkid, Mayorkun, Zlatan, and others.
Lagos Anthem- Zlatan
While 2019 was a good year for Zlatan, the beginning of 2020 was a slow burn for the Zanku artist. Though he released an EP, “Road To CDK”, the EP didn’t fare well with songs like “The Matter” and the “Unripe Pawpaw” gaining traction.
He however bounced back with the P.Priime-produced “Lagos Anthem”. The song has led to the popularity of the street slang, “Money no dey Lagos”.
This song is sure to be on a lot of DJs’ playlist due to its groovy beat and catchy lyrics.
Cashapp- Bella Shmurda ft Zlatan, Lincoln
Bella Shmurda is one of 2020’s breakout stars who have gained massive traction this year with his fuji-style kind of singing.
After his 2019 hit song, “Vision 2020” blew earlier in the year, he released his “High Tension” EP. The fast-rising star went further with dropping the street banger “Cashapp”.
Despite the song being criticized for promoting fraud with its lyrics, people can’t help but groove to it whenever it comes up. The song has the potential to dominate December the same way “Able God” did in 2018.
KPK – Rexxie X Mohbad
Marlian music artist, Mohbad despite releasing songs like ‘Overhype’ early in the year didn’t really dominate airwaves.
Things changed after his collaboration with Music Producer, Rexxie dropped in the second quarter of 2020.
The song titled “KPK” is off his “Light (Imole) EP. The song has led to the popularity of the term, “Ko Por Ke”.

The song is produced by the fast-rising music producer, Telz.
After going offline from social media for almost three months, Davido returned with the hit banger, “Fem”.
