The East-African princess, Nandy is out with her highly anticipated project – Taste EP.
Talented Tanzanian vocalist, Nandy comes through with her latest body of work titled, Taste (EP).
She was selected to represent Coke Studio Africa 2017, where she did a remarkable performance with the Ethiopian Betty G and though a newcomer at Coke Studio, got an opportunity to be upgraded to the high profile artists.
As a follow up to her debut album, 2018’s The African Princess, Nandy conjures up a brief yet sonically rich EP. With bongo flava, R&B and amapiano instrumentation cocooning her smooth Swahili lyrics, the Tanzanian songstress rhythmically whets the appetite for her sophomore.
“This EP has different sounds, rhythms and feelings. It’s a cocktail of variety,” she tells Apple Music. “When I first started out I was making Baibuda, but I’ve since grown into other music.
I just went with what I felt, so these songs have different sounds from different places. I also have a huge album coming up and that’s why I called this Taste.”
As a matter of fact, this body of work records no features, as all songs are composed and sung by Nandy.
