Ruger discloses what inspired his most recent songs.
The singer made this known during an interview session with Dadaboy Ehiz on Apple Music’s Africa.
Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed what inspired most of the songs on his “Second Wave” deluxe.
He says most songs on his ‘Second Wave’ deluxe are based on his personal experiences.
The “Girlfriend” hitmaker also averred that his music is very authentic, original and also resonates with people.

“Listeners need to know that whenever Ruger comes through, it’s always a 100% vibe, so these songs are very personal songs to me – ‘Girlfriend’ is a personal song, ‘WeWe’ is a personal song, and ‘Warning’ is also a personal song,”
“It’s just me stating about my personal experiences, and people who can relate to what I’m talking about, can relate.”
Ruger also appreciated his fans for the support, adding that he doesn’t take it for granted.
