    Reflecting on the slippery nature of the industry, falling off relevance and being absent in the music conversations, however, below are the artists we keep wondering and wishing they get the buzz back again;

    Cynthia Morgan 

    Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan popularly known as Cynthia Morgan but changed her name to Madrina, is a Nigerian songwriter and singer, then regarded as the Dancehall Queen and now yet to be replaced by any female.

    She gained dominance in 2014 after dropping her hit single ‘Don’t Break My Heart‘ Nonetheless, she continued releasing back to back hits till 2017 then went off from the scene, the reasons likely linked to health issues.

    Cynthia made a statement with her hits, hopeful that she returns to the music conversations.


    Umaren Akanimoh Felix popularly known as SugarBoy signed to G worldwide record label, Apparently Kizz Daniel‘s label mate, an afrobeat artiste, a promising young artist known for his hit single ‘Hola Hola’ and his verse on DJ ShabsyRaba‘ were he bodied everyone on the record.
    SugarBoy did some couple of hits songs before disappearing to ‘God knows where.

    Lil Kesh

    Keshinro Ololade popularly known as Lil Kesh, is a Nigerian rapper, singer,  and songwriter, gained prominence after releasing his hit single ‘shoki‘ one of the biggest songs of 2014.
    He was signed to YBNL record label, and was the youngest Nigerian artiste in the industry during his career run, delivered a lot of hit songs to his name.
    Kesh launched his record label after 2year run in the industry, perhaps too early, which constitute the major reason linked to his slight disappearance on the music conversation.

    Ice Prince 

    Panshak Henry Zamani popularly known as Ice Prince, is a  Nigerian hip hop artist, he gained prominence in 2010, after the release of his hit single Oleku featuring Brymo, he was previously signed to Chocolate City record label, also in 2013.
    He won Best International Act (Africa) at BET Awards, he was then regarded as the best rapper in Africa alongside M.I Abaga, simply because his flows were unmatched, Ice Prince, however, disappeared from the music conversation after 2017.


    Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk popularly known as Iyanya, gained prominence after winning Mtn Project Fame West Africa then later turned a household name after his smash hit single ‘Kukere‘.
    He released his first studio album titled “My Story” in 2011, he dropped churns of hit songs and bagged endorsement deals, before he dimmed around 2017 till date, he has been missing out on the music conversations even after dropping a couple of decent songs.

    Jesse Jagz

    Jesse Garba Abaga popularly known as Jesse Jagz, is a Nigerian record producer, rapper and songwriter, he has production credits for several hits song including Oleku by Ice Prince, OverKilling by DJinee, and so on.
    Jagz signed to Chocolate city record label in 2010, and also released his first studio album same year titled ‘Jag of All Tradez‘  he’s a highly talented artiste, delivered a couple of great songs and disappeared from the scene, personally rooting for his come back in the scene.
