CKay makes Billboard’s Top Triller U.S. and Global No. 1
The Love Nwantiti hitmaker top Billboard’s Triller U.S. and Global No. 1 ahead Wizkid.
Nigerian Afrobeat star CKay begins 2022 higher than any other Nigerian artiste, with his first Billboard Top Triller U.S. & Global No. 1 single, ‘Love Nwantiti.’
In a report Billboard made, CKay’s “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah)” spends its first week at No. 1 on the Top Triller U.S. list, debuting at the top of the Jan. 15-dated survey.
According to Triller, the Top Triller U.S. and Top Triller Global charts highlight the most popular songs on Triller based on a formula that combines the number of views of videos containing each song.
The level of engagement with those videos, and the raw total of videos uploaded featuring each song.

It previously peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, as well as the top 10 on the all-genre Streaming Songs, list in the United States and the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
CKay has also spent five weeks at the top of the Emerging Artists chart. The song is the first non-holiday upload to top the Top Triller U.S. chart in 2022.
This announcement comes after the Nigerian singer-songwriter climbed to the top of Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart (dated Nov. 13) and became the country’s top emerging performer for the first time.
