Nigerian singer, songwriter and stage performer Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, better known as Brymo, has made some revelations about how his wife, Ese, sold her car to fund the recording of his album.

The singer made this known in an interview with media personality Quincy Jonze where he discloses how his wife, Esse Kakadare, supported him during his recording and production of the album, Tabularasa.

The musician admitted that in order to pay for his fourth studio album, Tabularasa, which was released in 2014, he had to urge his wife to sell her car.

Brymo made the disclosure while being interviewed, noting that it was when he had problems with his former record label, Chocolate City Music.

According to the Ara singer, after his wife sold her car, they were both managing his own car, and with the release of subsequent albums, things got better for his family.

He went on to say that despite falling out with his label due to a bad contract, no one is suffering as a result of him leaving Chocolate City.
