Recollect that Mp3bullet.ng had reported that Baba Fryo had called out Davido in response to the singer’s 250 million Naira donation to orphanages across Nigeria,

The singer released a video in which he questioned why the DMW Label Boss contributed such a large sum of money to unknown individuals while neglecting him, a well-known face, during his difficult times.

“Davido gives money to orphanages and inaugurates a five-man committee to distribute that money. Everything sounds funny to me. If I see someone doing good, I appreciate them; I am not saying it is a bad thing.

I just want to ask people why someone like me that people know, who cried out; why did they not help the person that they know? It is the people that they do not know or can see their faces that they are helping out with N250m. Let’s all think; will we call that wickedness or ignorance?”, he said in part.

However, he was slammed by fans and artists who felt he was being entitled to money that wasn’t his.

In a recent video posted to his official Instagram page, however, the veteran singer claims that his statement was misunderstood and that his ‘frenemies’ took advantage of it.

He claimed that he is not opposed to Davido donating to orphans and that performers should promote love among themselves.

    He captioned the post,

“People misunderstood my words on my previous post about davido my frienemies took advantages of it”
