Rapper, AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, has urged Tesla founder to act quickly to address the electricity crisis that South Africa is now experiencing.

The country has been experiencing load-shedding for some time, but it became too much to bear for the artiste when the power company implemented stage 6 load-shedding from 4 pm until 10 pm on Tuesday, June 28.

AKA then appealed to Musk, fellow South African, on Tuesday night via his Twitter account to aid his home country by offering any ideas he might have for the situation.

In separate tweet, the rap star wrote; “Please @elonmusk. you have solution for load-shedding. Do it for your country, your original one.”
