American power couple ASAP Rocky and Rihanna reacted to criticism levelled at Nigerian superstar Tems for her Oscars 2023 dress.

The 2023 Oscars’ unfavourable vibes against the Nigerian Grammy-winning artist were met with a reaction from the Hollywood power couple.

The Lagos-born Grammy award-winning artist, who was a nominee at the 95th edition of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, popularly known as the Oscars, that took place in the early hours of today, Monday, March 13, 2023, was a highlight of the night.

Tems, who was nominated in the best original song category for the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” song “Lift Me Up,” arrived chicly in an opulent bridal-inspired gown that stood out.

Several people thought it was one of the greatest ensembles of the night, but she received a lot of criticism since some of the guests sat behind the singer and may not have been able to see because of the dress.

A news reporter approached ASAP Rocky and Rihanna as they exited a building in a video that has now gone viral, asking them about the criticism Tems had gotten. Although ASAP laughed heartily in answer to the question, Rihanna, who was more focused on getting inside the car, smiled sharply.
