Simi discusses her admiration for Asake’s Tonight Show performance.
Asake, a budding talent, received accolades from Simi for his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Going to Twitter on Tuesday, Simi shared her joy at Asake’s presence on the popular U.S. late-night show, noting that his music is “so unique and extremely representative of us”.
She went on to remark how difficult it is to reproduce Asake’s sound and how much she adores it.
In her words;
“Asake’s performance on the Tonight Show made me smile so much. His music is so unique and very representative of us. Hard to mimic that and he’s on int’l stages. I love it so much.”

Asake appeared for the very first time on The Tonight Show, where he was introduced by host Jimmy Fallon and performed two of his big singles and his song selection quickly wowed the audience.
Asake, a YBNL/Empire signee, dazzled the crowd with a medley performance of his smash singles “Organise” and “Yoga,” with live instrumentation provided by The Composers.
Asake joins Wizkid and Burna Boy, who both played on the show in 2022, in the ranks of performers with this appearance.
Simi isn’t the only one talking about the performance as positive reviews about it has flooded social media space.
