Ghanaian  recording and performing artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, better known by his stage name, Shatta Wale, has agreed to collaborate with Nigerian artist Pheelz.

Recall, Pheelz has openly requested a duet with Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall singer Shatta . The Nigerian singer stated in his plea that he believes a collaboration with Shatta will be a success.

The lead host of 3Music’ Culture Daily TV program, Jay Foley, revealed Pheelz’ intention via a video uploaded on social media on January 30, 2023.

“Yo, Shatta, link up, link up,” Pheelz said, captured looking into Jay’ selfie camera. “We have to make a hit.”

At this, the 3Music Culture Daily team roared in cheers.

“I feel Shatta and I can create some damage in this country,” Pheelz said in another video from the interview shared by Shatta on his Twitter timeline. “I feel I can create a vibe with Shatta that will bang.” He kept knocking his left palm with his right fist.

The ‘On God‘ hitmaker captioned the video with the exclamation: “Can’t music be beautiful this in Ghana!!! Aaaaawwwww!!! [blue and red heart emojis].”

Tagging Pheelz’s handle, he nodded to his request saying: “Bro, let’s do this [fire emojis]. It’s an African [thing].” He concluded with some fire, Nigeria and Ghana flag emojis.

In 2022, Pheelz scored two viral hits: the international ‘Finesse‘ featuring and ‘Electricity‘ featuring Davido.

His debut composition for 2023 is a solo work titled “Stand By You.”
