Mikel Arteta wins Premier League Manager of the Month for January 2023.
The Premier League’s Manager of the Month award was given to Mikel Arteta for the month of January, giving the Arsenal manager back-to-back triumphs.
In appreciation of another stellar month for the Gunners, Arteta, who previously won the award for the combined November/December category, defeated other contenders Thomas Frank, Steve Cooper, and Roberto De Zerbi for the title.
The north London team improved to 7 points from 3 games as they pursue their first league title since 2003/2004.

Arsenal initially triumphed at Tottenham in the league in 2014 before coming from behind to defeat Manchester United 3-2 after a scoreless draw at home with Champions League contenders Newcastle.
Arteta has won the MOTM award three times since the 2022–23 season began, as well as in August.
Ahead of their matchup with Everton on Saturday afternoon, Arsenal is five points ahead of second-placed Manchester City despite having played one fewer game.
The Premier League’s Player of the Month was Marcus Rashford, who scored goals against Bournemouth, Man City, and Arsenal.
