9ice has stated why he believes Asiwaju Tinubu should be the next President of Nigeria.

9ice told the world about his “Asiwaju experience” in a video going viral on social media.

The singer claims that Tinubu obtained his vote by asking for his phone number during a gathering. He recalled how among the other performers on stage, Tinubu chose him and requested his phone number.

The singer admitted that he was taken aback by the request given that there were other A-list Nigerian artists. He continued by saying that Jagaban’s request had made him understand how capable a leader he is and how, if elected, he would be to the people.

This comes days after Brymo, a stage name for Olawale Ashimi, refuted allegations that he was paid to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate.

In an interview with The Punch, he shot down the rumours and added that Tinubu is his personal choice for president and that he has his support.

The songwriter of the successful song “Oleku” claimed that whenever he expresses an opinion that differs from the conventional wisdom or customary behaviour, someone has always accused him of something.

Brymo observed how ironic it is that people suddenly suspect him of being paid because he is passionate about a presidential candidate after previously calling him broke for speaking out about important problems.
