Nigerian singer, Mohbad appreciates Bella Shmurda, his colleague, for being a fantastic friend to him.
The former Marlian Music signee gushed about Bella Shmurda on social media today, January 27, 2023, as he turns 27 years old.
Mohbad voiced his gratitude to Bella, who chose to stand with him during his music label squabble, for being a friend to him, adding that friends like him are rare.
He promised to gift the “Cash App” hitmaker 2 million Naira for his birthday while posting a video of him on his page.
His caption read: “A friend like you is hard to find, I owe you N2m for your birthday.”

It would be recalled that Bella Shmurda had been outspoken about Mohbad’s condition and unhappiness while still a signee at Naira Marley’s music label, Marlian Music.
In 2022, Mohbad publicly exposed Naira Marley and Marlian label for allegedly assaulting him, even providing videos of his bruises as physical evidence.

He said that he was assaulted for attempting to remove his manager, who was “their brother,” from his position.
The street-hop artist and rapper also gave the record company, through its owner Naira Marley, a termination notice over alleged unpaid royalties over a three-year period and physical abuse.
Unlike other artists who kept quiet in the face of the incident, Bella Shmurda called out Naira Marley and the label over the unfair treatment of his friend.
He also maintained his position regarding the unfair treatment Mohbad received from the Marlian music label in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
According to Bella, Mohbad once attempted to jump from a story-high building because of the difficulties he was experiencing with his label.
The “Fela born” singer disclosed that the singer’s girlfriend walked in on him sitting on the window in an attempt to jump off.
