He has performed on almost every continent, sold out notable venues, and won BET awards. Burna Boy sold out the famous Madison Square Garden in the United States in April.

Oxlade made headlines on social media in February when his s*x tape got leaked.
It was the main topic of conversation at the moment on the majority of Nigerian social media sites. The musician received criticism from some people while receiving accolades from others for his sexual skills.
The musician later apologised to his followers and the woman in the video in a post that was published on his Twitter on Saturday, February 2, 2022.
Additionally, it was said that the artist and the woman in the video got into a heated argument as a result of the leaked video.
