Recall, Shatta Wale claimed that the massive crowd that attended his Freedom Wave Concert held at the Accra Sports stadium is proof positive that he doesn’t need to do anything unusual to get a large audience to his performances.
He made this known when he paused intermittently during his charged performance at the recently held concert.
He was overcome by the sight of his fans showing up in massive numbers to support him and this got to him emotionally.
The dancehall artiste said: “…if we want to fill the Accra Sports Stadium we can fill it but when we fill it they should say we have filled it because it is not easy…this December the fans can come and fill the other side. We want to invite everybody to come to celebrate Christmas with us,”
