The Brazilian striker Richarlison’ incredible scissor-kick volley against Serbia in the two teams’ opening Group G match in Qatar was chosen as the best goal of the World Cup after a fan vote.

The goal was Brazil’ second in a 2-0 win. Tottenham star Richarlison scored three goals in total in the tournament.

The Tottenham forward’ strike came in the 73rd minute of the South American side’ opening game of the tournament to wrap up a 2-0 win.
