Cristiano Ronaldo has acknowledged that he turned a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia because, at the time, he didn’t want to leave Manchester United.

Ronaldo turned the chance to move to Saudi Arabia this despite receiving a €350 million offer, choosing to stay at Old Trafford in an effort to maintain his remarkable goal-scoring form.

However, he has butted heads with manager Erik ten Hag, he has confessed he does not respect, and now a January exit appears to be on the cards.

Asked to confirm the reports of an offer from Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo told Talk TV: “It’s true.
