Well, it happened that the floodgate was opened and a lot of music rained down, during the past week. In fact, last week was one of the most eventful weeks we’ve had in the music industry, in May years.
A lot of music we anticipated, some we didn’t, from the real hip-hop diss tracks, to the amazing albums and all that. The music is banging, and captivating, and it’s all the good stuff. Music that will definitely burst your brain.
Quickly, here are five fire jams you might wanna put on your playlist if you want it to be airtight. Right away.
Teni – Billionaire
Dr Dolor songstress, Teni comes back on this banging highlife tune, produced by popular YBNL producer, Pheelz. The title, “Billionaire” speaks for itself.
This year, alone, Teni has dropped a number of hits including “Sugar Mummy”, “Party Next Door” and the monster jam, “Power Rangers.” This is a worthy attention to her catalogue! “GET IT HERE“
Kizz Daniel – Pak N Go
Oh, and Kizz? That guy is just so amazing, isn’t he? He decided to pull a Drake on us, putting out two new music at the same time. While this may mean a new album on the way, we don’t have any info about that, as at this time.
But still, we get to enjoy his groovy sound again. “Pak N Go” (pack and go) talks about picky ladies and guys that won’t satisfy ladies. Not something that unusual, as Kizz has done controversial stuff into the past. Just this year, he made the monster hit, “Fvck You.” “GET IT HERE”
M.I Abaga – The Viper (Letter to Vector)
M.I promised to reply to Vector’s disses and he certainly did and in a fiery way, at that. “The Viper” which is a five-minute-long track talks about everything from how jealousy is eating up VEC, to how he’s God has sent him to lead Vector into salvation.
Vector tha Viper has made it clear that he’s going to do a response. But for what it’s worth, with this “The Viper” track, M.I might have won already. “GET IT HERE“
Rema – Lady
Rema, who recently bagged The Headies nomination for Next Rated, decided to put out a 4-track EP, and from that body of work comes this Wizkid-Esque tune, “Lady.”
The young singer is quickly becoming the fan’s favorite, and this new project just increased their love for him. The Mavin Records‘ artists really got stuff going! “GET IT HERE“
Last week, too, Erigga’s album, “The Erigma 2” came and it’s 18 tracks rich. Of all those songs, one that quickly stands out is “Two Criminals” featuring Next Rated nominee, Zlatan Ibile.
The song which is by far, the most groovy on the album, has the two rappers bursting one after the other. It’s all good vibes! “GET IT HERE“
